TRIG AVIONICS – SETTING THE STANDARD FOR THE MODERN AVIONICS STACK

Aircraft owners and homebuilders looking to update their stack, or panel would be wise to put the latest ‘stack bundle’ from Trig Avionics on their shortlist. Trig says this stack sets a new standard in slimline, space saving and light weight avionics. Jon Roper, Marketing Manager at Trig Avionics shared, “Aircraft owners are becoming aware of our new ‘stack bundle’. This complete solution includes a TMA44 Audio Panel, slimline TX56A Nav/Com, a TY96A VHF Com Radio and a TT31 Mode S Transponder. These avionics not only look great in the panel, but they also provide a superior and easy to use interface, with unique pilot friendly features.”

Trig’s most recent TX56A Nav/Com is now the smallest and lightest model on the market. Like the matching TY96A Trig radio, both are only 1.3” inches tall (the same height as legacy SL30 Nav/Com and SL40 Com units). Installation of these units requires a Trig tray, however the slim form factor and compatibility with legacy equipment makes installation straightforward. This means that installation cost savings are possible, when compared with other brands. Included in the stack bundle, the TT31 Mode S Transponder is ‘plug and play’ with legacy KT76A, KT76C and KT78A units, again reflecting Trig’s ‘Better by Design’ philosophy.

Jon Roper said, “A Trig stack saves at least ¾ of an inch in height and almost 2.2lbs of weight, compared to the industry standard. In practical terms, this means that each time you go flying you don’t have to carry nearly the equivalent weight of a family bag of sugar, a domestic toaster or seven chicken wings! These savings in space and weight can be even greater, if comparing a Trig stack with older legacy equipment. Freeing panel space has practical benefits too - it allows aircraft owners to be creative with their panel, accommodating other avionics more easily.”

Trig offers GA pilots the best mix of quality, features and value, the stack bundle as described is currently available. Trig products ship with a two-year warranty from the date of installation (not purchase) with free software updates, available throughout the life of the product.
