System 30 or System 50 to 55X Trade-in Promotion
From now until March 31st, 2016, Genesys Aerosystems is running special promotional pricing for trading in an S-TEC System 30 or S-TEC System 50 autopilot for the S-TEC System 55X autopilot. Standard pricing is $18,961 Retail to upgrade however for the duration of the promotional period, the discounted retail price is lowered to only $11,995 retail (standard dealer discounts will apply). The 55X upgrade will allow for GPSS roll steering which allows sequencing from waypoint to waypoint as well as full approach capability with Vertical Speed and glideslope capture. The 55X is the most popular and capable autopilot for pilots flying light or hard IFR, and is an ideal upgrade to complete while also installing an ADS-B solution.
The upgrade uses the current servo installation so the upgrade requires much less labor than a new installation of an autopilot and will include the Autopilot Disconnect Alarm Unit, a new programmer and/or computer(s), wiring harness with associated hardware and in the case of an upgrade from a System Thirty, a new turn coordinator.
Please verify the 55X is STC’d in the specific make and model prior to ordering the upgrade and note that the System 30 or 50 programmer will need to be returned to Genesys Aerosystems in order to receive the discounted upgrade price. IntelliFlight 2100 now STC’d for the Cessna 400 series
Genesys Aerosystems/S-TEC now has Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to install the IntelliFlight 2100 Autopilot Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) on the Cessna 414 and 414A as well as the Cessna 421, 421A, 421B, and 421C aircraft.
The IntelliFlight 2100 is a three-axis digital autopilot and flight management system that reduces pilot workload while flying in IMC. Additionally, it provides the precision needed when flying an instrument approach down to minimums. It is one hundred percent digital, with solid-state gyros and advanced servos and sensors. It is specifically designed for piston twins, turbine twins and light jets that need to smoothly handle busy airspace, especially around commercial airports.
Upgrade Pricing from 55X to 2100 (MOD Kit 2100) for Cessna 400 Series
MOD KIT 2100 – upgrades the Cessna 414, 414A, 421, 421A, 421B and 421C rate based System 55X to the attitude based Intelliflight 2100 digital flight control system. Advantages of upgrading to the Intelliflight 2100 include improved pilot interface, turbine aircraft attitude based performance from the digital ADAHRS, annunciated active and target modes, integrated altitude pre-select and alerter, Indicated Airspeed hold function, and voice annunciations including altitude alerts, trim alerts, and autopilot disconnect alert.
