Garmin is pleased to announce that G500H TXi flight displays are now available for preorder. New order lead time for the G500H TXi system is currently fourth quarter 2018. Because of the advantages offered by the new G500H TXi flight displays, the original G500H system is no longer available for ordering. Upon availability, Garmin will honor the G500(H)/G600 Upgrade Program, allowing customers to upgrade to the new G500H TXi flight displays using their existing system sensors.

Optimized for Helicopter Operations

Built on the proven capabilities of the original G500H series, G500H TXi offers a vastly expanded array of features, options and panel possibilities, which brings a new level of reliability, adaptability and affordability to helicopter operations. Designed specifically for FAR Part 27 VFR helicopters, G500H TXi boasts a bright LCD design — including a large 10.6” display and 2 versions of 7” displays, available in portrait or landscape orientation — and features traditional concentric knobs for added versatility and convenience. The G500H TXi flight display system is targeted for both FAA & EASA approval on select models of Bell 206/407/427, Airbus AS350/EC130, Robinson R44 and MD Helicopters MD500/530 in fourth quarter 2018. G500H TXi includes a 2-year warranty, supported by Garmin's award-winning avionics product support team.
